GOD’S THIRST FOR US

God’s thirst for us goes beyond anything we could ever imagine. His longing for all His children is this: that we return to dwell with Him for eternity in Heaven.

God’s plan for our redemption has existed from before creation and the fall of Adam through the revelation of Jesus Christ. Christ is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He is both the Creator and the one created to redeem us.

Unconditional, deep, and abiding love.

God’s love for us is unfathomable. Unconditional, deep, and abiding, it flows like living water.

God beckons us to the well of grace and salvation poured out through Christ’s death and resurrection. He continuously leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one who has gone astray. So magnificent is His thirst for us, His longing to commune with us, that He never turns away.

We are created each one of us, in that love. Through that love, we are saved by grace through faith. Because of that love, Christ suffered and died for our salvation. All who thirst for righteousness, forgiveness, and peace are clothed in that love and refreshed, revived, and restored by the living waters that flow from it.

Thirsting for God is more than simply acknowledging His presence.

When we thirst for God we continually seek Him. In times of joy and in times of sorrow, we reach out to Him. Our desire for God leads us on the path of righteousness. We turn away from sin, let go of our selfish desires, hear His voice, and listen. Whatever problems or hardships we face, we trust in God’s promises and His love.

He alone is our provider, our protector, and the author of our peace.

My unconditional love

poured into creation.

I THIRST FOR YOU.

For you are My passion.

Abide with Me,

in GRACE everlasting.

I THIRST FOR YOU.

For you have been chosen.

Born of flesh and of bone,

My SPIRIT interwoven.

I THIRST FOR YOU.

For you are the reason,

I sent My own SON,

to ensure your SALVATION.

I THIRST FOR YOU.

Will you not thirst for me?

Unshackle your soul,

and DWELL in My PEACE.

My Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of Your deep, abiding love. Help me to always thirst for You as You thirst for me. Grant me a teachable spirit that is open and accepting of Your Word and Your grace. Give me a willing soul that is unwavering in faith and that longs to commune with You, praise You, and dwell with You forever. Amen.
