EVEN WHEN I CANNOT SEE

Only God can see what’s ahead of us.

Without God’s guidance, we’re prone to wander, lost and confused.

Yielding to God is the only way to ensure we’re going in the right direction.

A poem inspired by Psalm 25:5.

Even when I cannot see,

I know that You are leading me.

When I fail to understand,

I know You’re with me where I stand.

When one door closes,

it’s because You know,

that’s not the direction I should go.

You go ahead and mark my path.

That I trust in You is all You ask.

Every storm that I face

is marked with Your unending grace.

Every moment preordained,

written for me by Your own hand.

Help me, LORD, to surrender all.

To answer YES each time You call.

Show me Your ways, LORD,

Guide all my steps.

As You number my days,

and count every breath.

For You are God,

Author of creation.

You lead me in Truth,

down the path to salvation.
