Charlie Kirk was more than a Patriot. First and foremost, he was a man of faith. His senseless murder on September 10 robbed a wife of her husband, children of their father, and silenced a voice the world desperately needed.
Charlie Kirk unapologetically defended conservative values, using his voice to bring glory to the kingdom of God. In doing so, he shed light on the foundations that made the country he loved great. Once asked how he’d like to be remembered, Kirk answered, “I want to be remembered for courage for my faith. That would be the most important thing; the most important thing is my faith.”

A Powerful Voice
Kirk’s knowledge of history, government, the Constitution, and the Bible gave him a powerful voice. One he used to reach across the political divide with temperance and wisdom. He listened. Moreover, his demeanor was never abrasive; rather, with sound principles and precise words, he engaged in thoughtful debate without resorting to rhetoric or insults.
A Master Debater
Kirk welcomed debate. In fact, he encouraged people, particularly young people, to engage in discourse using logic, reason, and critical thinking rather than simply embracing the status quo. He often quoted the Bible, especially in reference to the Constitution and America’s founding principles. He believed in the values of freedom, limited government, and fiscal responsibility. In 2012, he founded Turning Point USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, training, and organizing students across the country to promote those values and to engage in active learning and healthy debate.
“We heal our divides by talking to people we disagree with,” Kirk believed, “You heal the country when you allow disagreement.” Like our founding fathers, Charlie Kirk understood the important role education plays in perpetuating American values and freedom.
A Strong Leader
Under his leadership, mentorship, and example, Turning Point USA has grown into “the largest and fastest-growing youth organization in America.” In addition, Kirk served as the CEO and founder of Turning Point Action, a related entity dedicated to emboldening “the conservative base through grassroots activism and to provide voters with the necessary resources to elect true conservative leaders.”
Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country that he loved so much, the United States of America. He fought for liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people. He’s a martyr for truth and freedom. And there has never been anyone who was so respected by youth.

The Charlie Kirk Show is one of the most popular podcasts in America. In fact, it consistently ranks among the top-10 news shows on Apple Podcasts news charts. Kirk authored several books, including the #1 Amazon and New York Times best-seller, The MAGA Doctrine: The Only Ideas that Will Win the Future. His book, Stop in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life, has already hit the bestsellers list, three months ahead of its December release.

He built not only Turning Point USA from nothing, but a household of faith with Erika and their two precious children. He modeled what it means for a man to love his wife as Christ loved the Church. In his short 31 years, Charlie Kirk made a difference.
