The Book of Psalms is an expression of worship and praise, celebrating God’s strength, power, and faithfulness.
The Book of Psalms is a collection of poetry and songs focusing on God’s relationship with His people. Many are expressions of worship, while others are laments, expressing sorrow, pain, and cries for God’s help. Still others are expressions of gratitude for God’s strength, deliverance, and provision. However, they all serve to remind us of God’s faithfulness.

God is my strength and my song.
Like the Book of Psalms, Isaiah also expresses his unwavering trust in God, acknowledging God as his salvation and strength. In verse 12:2, Isaiah praises God expressing the joy and trust emanating from his deep and abiding relationship with God, regardless of the trials he faces.

God’s Word will never fail.
Both the Book of Psalms and Isaiah are powerful reminders of God’s unwavering nature and His ability to provide hope and deliverance in all circumstances. God is indeed our strength in times of trouble, our joy in times of peace, and our hope for all times.
Cry out to the Lord, He will hear you. Trust in the Lord, He will deliver you. Turn to Him for strength and comfort; His Word will never fail. Amen.
I cry out to You, LORD,
with my last vestiges of strength,
knowing that FAITH is all I need,
to see me through this storm.
Rescue me, O GOD.
Lift me from this dark place.
My enemies surround me,
overwhelming my spirit,
tearing at my soul.
But You are my REFUGE,
My SHIELD and ARMOR,
Your SPIRIT is my FORTRESS.
In You, there is no defeat.
No darkness can overcome
Your LIGHT.
No sword can overpower,
Your MIGHT.
No depth, no distance,
can remove me from Your SIGHT.
I trust in You, O God.
I am not afraid,
for You go before me.
Your MERCY and GRACE
are my SALVATION.
You are my STRENGTH
and my SONG.
You are MY GOD,
and I will sing of Your GOODNESS,
forever and ever.
AMEN.
