WHY I WRITE ABOUT…

I write about RECOVERY

because it pulled me from the darkness.

I write about LOVE

because it’s the greatest gift I receive and the greatest gift I give.

I write about FAITH

because the smallest seed moves mountains.

I write about HOPE

because without it the darkness would’ve won.

I write about GRIEF

because I’ve experienced it, will experience it again, and yet, believe in the promise of eternal life, and the blessed reunion awaiting me there.

I write about TRUTH, SURRENDER, ACCEPTANCE, FORGIVENESS, and PERSEVERANCE

for myself, my daughters, and others because I would not be here now without them.

I write about these things because, 

God places the words on my heart to remind me of His unconditional mercy and abiding love.

I share them because they are not mine to keep and because they may be the exact words another soul needs to hear to make it one more hour, one more day.

If that’s you, I pray they find you.
